Parents/Carers Access to school

Please can I remind parents/carers who wish to speak to their child’s class teacher at the beginning or end of the school day to see the school office, we will then ask the teacher to come to speak to you or pass on a message whichever you prefer.  We are sorry but due to safeguarding, it is important to monitor adult/parent movement through school.  The school bell is rung at 8:50 am lessons start at 8:55 am prompt. On wet/icy mornings the bell is rung at 8:40 am after which children are able to enter their classrooms.

We do appreciate your co-operation with this to allow staff time to set up and ensure that learning begins promptly.

School Financial Year End

Please can any monies outstanding be paid by Monday 19th March due to the Financial Year End.

Thank you.

Dinner Monies

Please can I remind parents, dinner money should be paid in advance and no arrears.  With our online payment system, you are able to add any amount you wish over £11 and this will then decrease as your child has a dinner.  If you do prefer to pay in cash please send this at the beginning of the week/term. If for any reason your child does not take a dinner within that week, the amount will be carried over to the following week.  I am sorry to share with you we are seeing an increase in the amount of monies owing and the time and costs this takes to recoup does have an impact on our budget. We do very much appreciate your prompt payments. Thank you.

School Attendance

As you are aware we do monitor attendance closely along with the local authority.  Each term we send home information to notify you of your child’s attendance. This will be sent home next week, including 100% attendance certificates for those who have managed to dodge the viruses.  Please can I remind parents to continue to phone school on a daily basis to report your child ’s absence.

Thank you for your continued support.
