Inspired by our amazing animal theme week, we are asking all children to create an “animal book” for homework. This will be due in by Monday 28th September.

This could be a funny story, similar to “The Tiger who came to Tea” with lots of animal antics, or a more serious story such as fictional diary style account of the lions journey to The Yorkshire Wildlife Park, or an informative text.

The book could take the form of a pop-up book, lift the flipbook...the list is endless! Children can be as creative as possible with their ideas, designs and illustrations.

The books will be displayed in school and all children will receive a certificate for their hard work. The creator of the best book from each Key Stage will take home a special “toy tiger” (on display in the entrance).

Remembering the amazing work produced in the past, such as the life cycle of a butterfly creations, we cannot wait to see and read the fantastic work this time.
