Snaith Primary School

Friday 3rd April

Today, you are going to be artists!

But rather than looking at a whole picture we would like you to create a view finder so that you only focus on a small section of a picture.

A view finder is like a small photo frame. You move it around a picture to help you to find an interesting section  that you would like to focus on.

Use the PDF below to see how to make one and to give you further ideas.

To think about: What do the root words ‘phone’ and ‘real’ mean and how are these meanings changed by adding prefixes (a group of letters at the beginning of the word) and suffixes (a group of letters at the end of the word) to them?

What do the prefixes micro, tele, homo and un mean? Use an online dictionary to look them up and write them in your exercise book.
